Native American Museum Quality Vintage Santo Domingo Spiny Oyster Royston Turquoise Necklace

This is a museum quality vintage Santo Domingo very large and long double strand necklace. This outstanding necklace contains two very long strands that consist of large hand cut spiny oyster shells that graduate towards the bottom. The larger shells measure around 1-1/2" X 3/8". Situated throughout the shells are fabulous hand cut Royston turquoise stones. I absolutely love the impressive hand braided neck piece at the ends. This necklace is phenomenal and so very beautiful. Cir. Mid century+. The length of the necklace measures around 35". Sturdy 339 grams.
