Native American Intricate Vintage Zuni Butterfly Inlay Sterling Silver Turquoise Concho Belt

This is a fascinating vintage Navajo inlaid silver concho belt. The concho belt consists of 15 outstanding inlaid silver butterfly conchos including the larger silver buckle. The average butterfly concho measures around 1-3/8" X 1-1/4" while the large inlaid silver buckle measures around 1-7/8" X 2". Located on each concho and buckle are inlaid mother of pearl, yellow shell, coral, turquoise, and onyx. Each concho consists of roped antennas with accenting silver raindrops. Situated throughout the inlaid butterflies are wonderful silver round links. The total length of the concho belt measures around 31-1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century+. Sturdy 95 grams.
