Native American Important Vintage Santo Domingo Trinnie Travis Sterling Silver Lapis Bracelet
This is a fascinating vintage Santo Domingo single stone silver bracelet handmade by one of the earliest silversmiths in the tribe, Trinnie Travis. Trinnie began working in the 1940's and this is just an incredible piece. This piece contains a remarkable center rectangular shaped protruding lapis stone. Running down the ends of the wide, thick and sturdy silver cuff are simplistic silver patterns. The patterns consist of clouds, plants and flowers. This bracelet The center stone measures around 1-1/8" x 3/4". The width of the bracelet measures around 1-1/4". Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Trinnie Travis. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/4" with an additional 1" gap. Sturdy 104 grams.
