This is a remarkable Santo Domingo turquoise silver ring handmade by one of the most famous Santo Domingo artists in history, Tony Aguilar Sr. This incredible piece contains a large center dome shaped Royston turquoise stone. Surrounding the face of the ring are marvelous channeled patterns. The shank on this ring is wide and sturdy. What we also love about this ring is that the shank is completely adjustable by simply squeezing or pulling apart the shank. The center stone measures around 1-1/8" x 3/4". The ring face measures around 1-1/4" x 1". Signed by Tony Aguilar Sr. . The ring size is around 8. Cir. 1970's+. Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 17 grams.
