Native American Important Vintage Kenneth Begay Sterling Silver Salt Serving Spoon

This is a museum quality Navajo all silver salt spoon handmade by none other than the very famous artist, Kenneth Begay. One of Kenneths teachers was the famous artist, Fred Peshlakai. Ken had worked at the extremely famous White Hogan shop which was located in Scottsdale Arizona. He was definitely a multiple award winner as you can tell his pieces are very intricate, precise and so beautiful. This piece is a salt shaker spoon that measures around 2-1/4" X 1/2". The detailing around the spoon is just incredible and consists of beautiful slanted line segments, swirling patterns and wave works. The hallmark consists of a hogan with KB Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Kenneth Begay. Cir. 1980's+. Sturdy 6 grams.
