This is a magnificent vintage Santo Domingo turquoise, shell and silver necklace handmade by one of the most famous artists of our time, Dan Coriz. This museum quality piece contains absolutely incredible hand tooled silver tubule beads. Resting throughout the double strand necklace are wonderful disc shaped spiderweb turquoise stones with accenting spiny oyster shells. Resting at the ends are phenomenal sterling silver cones. Just look at that marvelous double strand matching jacla pendant that also consists of spiderweb turquoise stones and spiny oyster shells. The silver tubule with the large silver bail is just impeccable measuring around 2-1/2" X 3/4". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Daniel Coriz . The length of the necklace measures around 39". Sturdy 180 grams.
