This is a museum quality vintage Santo Domingo shell necklace. This important necklace was handmade by one of the most famous Santo Domingo artists in history, Dan Coriz. Resting on the beatiful large inlaid silver pendant are superior corals, turquoise, gaspeite and shells. The pendant measures around 4" X 1-3/4" including the bail. Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are two strands of remarakble white to purple colored shell heishi with accenting tubule silver beads and round beads. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Dan Coriz. The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 158 grams.
