This is a magnificent Navajo multiple strand turquoise and shell necklace. This remarkable necklace contains 10 phenomenal strands that include beautiful Royston turquoise stones, red spiny oyster shells, orange spiny oyster shells and purple spiny oyster shells. The amount of fascinating hand cut tan to brown shell heishi that is situated throughout all of the turquoise and spiny oyster shells as well as at the top of each strand is just impeccable. This necklace is extremely comfortable to wear and contains so much beauty. I absolutely love the intricately hand braided neck piece allowing the necklace to last for many generations to come. Handmade by Navajo artist, Ry Whitegoat. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 208 grams.
