Native American Important Opulent Vintage Santo Domingo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace Old

This is a breathtaking vintage Santo Domingo turquoise, shell and silver necklace. This very important necklace was handmade by the famous artist, Orlando Crespin. Orlando is one of the most famous large bead necklace artists in Santo Domingo history. Check out the phenomenal huge spiny oyster shells with accenting hand wrought round silver beads and large silver cones. What I also love about this piece is the handmade silver links with that amazing silver clasp with unique designs on the clasp. This necklace contains two wonderful strands of turquoise stones that appear to be from the old blue Carico Lake turquoise mine. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Orlando Crespin. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 114 grams.
