Native American Important Francisco Gomez Vintage Hand Carved Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a fascinating very intricate turquoise and silver necklace handmade by the famous artist, Francisco Gomez. This remarkable necklace contains a beautiful large silver pendant that consists of a fascinating and very intricately hand carved turquoise stone. The stone is hand carved into a marvelous Indian face with outstanding detailing. The center Easter Blue turquoise stone measures around 1-5/8" X 1-1/4". Situated at the bottom of the large silver pendant are three phenomenal dangling feathers with two being hand carved silver feathers and the center being a unique and very intricately detailed hand carved turquoise stone. Surrounding the stone on the silver pendant are wonderful silver teepee patterns with accenting raindrops and silver rope. The entire pendant measures around 4-3/4" X 1-5/8" including the bail and dangling feathers. Situated throughout the rest of the necklace are phenomenal hand cut turquoise disc stones with accenting handmade disc shaped silver beads with an end traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by artist, Francisco Gomez. The length of the necklace measures around 35". Sturdy 106 grams.
