Native American Important Francisco Gomez Turquoise Chief Sterling Silver Necklace

This is an exquisite hand carved Indian chief head silver pendant necklace handmade by the famous artist, Francisco Gomez. I absolutely love this beautiful necklace as the pendant consists of a remarkable hand carved center tan shell that is carved into an Indian chief with so much detail and intricacy. Surrounding the center tan stone are amazing teardrop turquoise stones that appear to be from the wonderful Number 8 turquoise mine. Accenting the entire pendant are stunning silver works that consist of beads that graduate in size as well as hand carved silver fans. Even the bail contains wonderful silver works. The pendant measures around 2-3/4" X 1-3/4". The necklace comes with a stunning handmade silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by artist, Francisco Gomez. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 35 grams.
