This is an impressive vintage Santo Domingo turquoise necklace. This fascinating necklace contains 10 outstanding strands that each consist of multiple chunky Royston turquoise stones. Situated throughout the stones and located on each end of the strands are amazing hand cut brown shell heishi. Check out that remarkable large hand carved thick Royston turquoise heart pendant, just WOW! The heart alone measures around 2" X 1-3/4" and is 3/4" in thickness. The entire pendant including the large silver pendant measures around 3-1/2" X 1-3/4". I absolutely love the very sturdy and detailed hand braided neck tie at the end allowing the necklace to last for many generations to come. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 35". Sturdy 187 grams.
