Native American Extremely Intricate Santo Domingo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a tremendous Santo Domingo inlaid large necklace. This museum quality necklace contains 9 large and impeccable inlaid sections that graduate in size towards the center. The bottom and most unique shaped inlaid section measures around 3-1/8" X 1-3/4". The inlay on this necklace is absolutely beautiful and consists of mother of pearl, spiny oyster, turquoise, and onyx. Situated at the ends are two strands of hand cut jet heishi with accenting silver cones. This necklace can be adjusted in length measuring from around 23" to about 28". The necklace can be worn double sided if desired, the entire back of the necklace contains outstandoing jet inlay. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 196 grams.
