This is a magnificent vintage Santo Domingo large hand cut turquoise and spiny oyster shell necklace. This remarkable necklace contains three outstanding strands that consists of graduating hand cut Royston turquoise disc shaped stones that graduate in size to about 1/2" in diameter. Accenting the top of the three strands is a cluster of hand cut orange to red colored spiny oyster shells. Seperating the triple strand from the single strand are two superior hand cut large Royston turquoise stones that each measure around 1-1/8" X 3/8". The single strand of the necklace consists of more of the beautiful hand cut red to orange spiny oyster shells. The necklace can be adjusted in length with the stunning handmade silver link chain at the top. The shortest the necklace measures is around 25" while the longest the necklace measures is around 30-1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Sturdy 142 grams.
