This is a museum quality vintage Santo Domingo very large mind blowing inlaid necklace. This impeccable necklace contains 5 strands total that are seperated into two sections. The bottom section consists of 3 strands that include 15 intricately inlaid graduating pendants. The pendants all graduate in size towards the bottom with the largest on the 3 strand part of the necklace measuring around 2-3/8" X 1-1/4". Situated on the two strand part of the necklace is the largest inlaid pendant yet measuring a whopping 3-1/4" X 1-1/2", WOW! Located throughout all five strands are phenomenal hand cut graduating disc shaped pinkish orange spiny oyster shells. What connects the five strands together are 2 very large square shaped inlaid sections that each measure around 1-3/4" X 1-1/2". The inlay on this necklace consists of orange to pink colored spiny oyster, jet, white stone and green colored turquoise stones with amazing tan to chocolate brown matrix. What I also love about this insanely detailed and large necklace is that it can be worn two ways with the other side of the necklace consisting of beautiful jet stones and jet heishi. Cir.
