This is a fascinating vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver necklace. Here we have a reversilbe necklace of thirty-three silver pillows of graduated sizes that are strung on the chain necklace in such an interesting way so that they overlap the next pillow ever so slightly. The largest are the five 1" diamater pillows at the center - and the very middle three are actually done in a shadowbox design with turquoise stones on the one side and corals on the other. The largest turquoise stone is about 1/2" x 1/4", while the largest coral is about 1/2" x 1/8". And on both sides of all but the top four silver pillows, they each have a most marvelous intricate hand carved daisy design! The strands end with large silver beads, cones and the 3" loop and link chain that allows you to change the length some. Sterling silver. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry artist, Eve Tsosie. The length of the necklace measures around 27". Sturdy 76 grams.
