Museum Vintage Navajo Turquoise Native American Jewelry Silver Necklace
Here we have an impressive vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver necklace. The necklace portion is done in graduated Royston turquoise discs that lead to the dark brown heishi and silver clasp. The larger discs at the center of the necklace are separated with a silver bead at the larger discs, and then by a heishi until the discs are strung side by side. Quite a unique technique that ensures those center discs are noted and truly appreciated! The 3-1/8" x 1-1/2" penant is an oval silver platform with geometric carvings at the base as the striking large oval Royston turquoise stone is set at the top of it. The stone measures about 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" and the pendant has a large silver bail. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry artist, Danny Chee. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 74 grams. MAKE US AN OFFER- We like to be flexible!
