Museum Vintage Navajo Turquoise Coral Sterling Silver Native American Jewelry Necklace

A remarkable vintage Navajo Native American jewelry silver necklace. With the motif of a decorated silver vase with both a turquoise and coral stone, this necklace is arranged in a somewhat similar design of a squash blossom necklace. The center double 3-1/4” x 1” pendant (naja) and four “matching” pendants (blossoms) are strung along a double strand of ¼” silver pods that then give way to a single strand until reaching the clasp. The dimensional four pendants are each a silver vase with a coral stone at the crown, a turquoise stone at the base and a large silver applique leaf set at one side. The second vase of the center pendant dangles nicely, giving the piece some added movement. The largest turquoise is about 3/8” x ¼”. Sterling silver, marked. The length of the necklace measures around 21". Sturdy 56 grams.
