Museum Vintage Navajo Harry Morgan Turquoise Inlaid Native American Jewelry Silver Box
This is an impressive vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry museum quality silver box by the famous artist Harry Morgan. Harry was one of the finest Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry artist silversmiths and was known for his incredibly precise and old silver work. This box is the most unique piece we have ever seen by Harry which includes a top gargantuan hand inlaid shell with unique Red Mountain turquoise and exquisite planet inlaid jet. The lid is meant to represent an 1800's style concho. Even the feet on this piece is handmade. The silver is extremely thick and heavy. This box belongs in the Smithsonian. The shell on top measures a whopping 2-3/4" X 2-1/4" and the box measures an astounding 4" X 4" X 3". Sterling silver, marked.
