This is a breathtaking Navajo turquoise and silver necklace. This piece contains absolutely stunning hand wrought tubule and round shaped silver beads. Located throughout the bracelet are spiderweb turquoise stones that appear to be from the fascinating old Number 8 and old Carico Lake turquoise stones. The stone on the pendant is Number 8 turquoise while the rest of the turquoise situated throughout the necklace is old Carico Lake. The large silver pendant measures around 2-1/2" X 1-1/2" including the silver bail. The turquoise stone on the pendant measures around1-1/4" X 7/8". Situated around the pendant are outstanding sun bursting patterns with a single silver rope. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Fran Begay . The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 44 grams.
