A superlative vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver bowguard. This black leather bowguard has a 3-3/8" x 2-5/8" four-point feather design silver shield with a beautiful Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone at its very center. The stone is set upon a domed silver platform with hand carved sunrays bursting forth. Concentric circles form the center as the shield forms its scalloped four corners. The leather bowguard is about 3-3/8" x 7-1/2" around when the 2 snaps are connecting it closed. The center stone measures around 9/16" x 1/2".
