This is a magnificent vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry reversable silver squash blossom necklace. This museum quality necklace is incredibly heavy. Let me explain this piece because it is absolutely stunning. The naja is double sided, one side contains very heavy sterling silver with deep sun silver works while on th opposite side you have remarkable natural green turquoise stones that appear to be Royston. The largest Royston turquoise stone measures around 5/8" X 5/8" and the entire naja measures around 3" X 3-1/4". Then running along the necklace are 14 outstanding silver squashes that each measure around 2" long. Accenting the entire necklace are fabulous hand wrough silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. I cannot get over how heavy the naja is on this necklace. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+.
