This is a marvelous Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry museum quality very important and rare silver squash blossom necklace handmade by the famous Wayne Smallbear. This piece is so unique, look how he used whole turquoise stones as the squash blossoms including the wonderful huge naja pendant that measures around 2" X 2-3/8". The stone on the naja measures around 2-1/4" X 1-3/4". The turquoise appears to be from the very rare Blue Diamond turquoise mine. Located on the necklace are 6 fabulou silver raindrop shaped squashes that also contain outstanding Blue Diamond turquoise stones. Resting throughout the necklace are phenomenal handmade silver beads. Look at how unique and precise the silver works are. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+.
