This is a museum quality vintage Santo Domingo very large inlaid shell pendant necklace. This remarkable necklace contains one of the largest inlaid shell pendants we have seen on a piece measuring a mind blowing 5-1/4" X 5-1/4". The inlaid stones and shells consist of sugulite, abalone, Royston turquoise, Sleeping Beautyturquoise, onyx, pink shell, mother of pearl, pipestone, white stone, and lapis. The intricacy and detailing on this piece is absolutely mind blowing. The rest of the necklace is comprised of wonderful handmade round silver beads with long end silver fluted cones and a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 33". Sturdy 170 grams.
