Kachina Inlay Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace
This is an exceptional vintage Navajo inlaid silver pendant turquoise necklace. This remarakble necklace contains a large unique shaped inlaid silver pendant that measures a whopping 3-1/2" X 1-1/4" including the bail. The inlay on this pendant is absolutely fascinating as it consists of a spectacular space inlay with a kachina. The inlay includes Royston turquoise, orange spiny oyster, onyx and abalone. Surrounding the pendant are fascinating silver channel works, wave works and raindrops. Located on the rest of the necklace are superior large chunky graduating turquoise and coral stones. The largest disc shaped turquoise stone measures a whopping 7/8" in diameter. Situated at the ends of the necklace are wonderufl round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Raymond Jack. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 121 grams.
