Intricately Hand Carved Vintage Native American Zuni Turquoise Sterling Silver Inlay Necklace

This is an astonishing vintage Zuni inlaid silver feather and sun face necklace handmade by the famous artist Eldred Martinez. Eldred is known for her incredible carved stone and shell workmanship. She beautifully hand carves into the stones and shells making her pieces pop with intricacy that much more. The inlaid stones and shells include onyx, mother of pearl, coral, yellow shell and Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones. The intricacy of the carvings is just spectacular. Resting at the bottom is an inlaid sun face while situated at the sides of the necklace are inlaid feather silver segments that each measure around 3*-1/4" X 1". Surrounding the inlaid stones and shells are wonderful flattened silver shells and sun stampings. The necklace contains a marvelous handmade silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. What I also love about this necklace is that it comes with a beautiful pair of matching earrings that each measure around 2-3/8" X 1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Zuni artist, Eldred Martinez. The length of the necklace measures around 20-1/2". Sturdy 49 grams.
