This is a remarkable vintage Navajo important turquoise and silver necklace. This is one of the most detailed pendant necklaces we have recently collected. Just look how detailed that 2-7/8" X 1" silver pendant is. The pendant is a corn dancer that is hand carved into a corn plant, maiden face with surrounding silver feathers and a superior accenting fat triangular shaped turquoise stone at the bottom. The necklace consists of a handmade silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Nel Morton . The length of the necklace measures around 28-1/2". Sturdy 25 grams.
