This is a tremendous absolutely opulent, completely handmade, Hopi solid sterling silver statue. This incredibly important silver sculpture was handmade by the famous artist, Watson Honanie. Watson is one of the most famous Hopi artists in history and this is the most unique piece we have ever seen by him. The piece is a completely handmade, sterling silver, kachina statue that is situated on a wood foundation. The piece is marked by Watson and this is the only one we have seen by him. Usually his jewelry is incredibly collectible, very rare and this piece is the most rare and truly amazing piece we have seen by Watson. The sculpture is completely handmade, the kachina itself measures a mind blowing 4" X 3-1/2". The wood foundation has a diameter of about 5-5/8". Sterling silver. Signed by Hopi artist, Watson Honanie. Cir. 1980's+. Sturdy 305 grams.
