This is an impressive vintage Zuni Native American jewelry very important and museum quality Evangelita Edaakie silver squash blossom necklace. Located on this piece are 12 fabulous and uniquely shaped squashes that each contain a phenomenal plethora of hand carved needlepoint turquoise stones. All of the squash blossoms are eyes and each measure around 1" X 1/2". The wonderful 1-1/2" X 1-1/2" silver naja pendant also contains incredible hand cut needlepoint turquoise stones. Resting throughout the necklace are marvelous hand wrought silver beads with two accenting silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. Signed by Zuni Native American jewelry artist, Evangelita Edaakie. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 58 grams.
