Important Vintage Zuni Colin Coonsis 'Orange Opal' Native American Jewelry Silver Abalone Pendant

This is a breathtaking Zuni Native American jewelry, incredibly rare and absolutely stunning silver pendant. This piece was handmade by the famous artist Colin Coonsis. The pendant is absolutely remarkable and consists of fabulous orange and purple opal with regular opal. The shells are beautifully inlaid into both sides of the pendant allowing for this piece to be reversible if desired. Check out how the aritst wonderfully did more shell inlay going around the entire pendant. Located on the other side of the pendant is amazing abalone shells. Colin is one of the best inlay artists in the Zuni Native American jewelry tribe. The pendant measures around 1-3/4" X 1-3/8" including the bail. Sterling silver.
