Important Vintage Native American Zuni Sandra Quandelacy Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a museum quality vintage Zuni hand carved maiden necklace. This necklace was handmade by one of the most famous fetish maiden artists in history, Sandra Quandelacy. This piece is top notch as it consists of two strands of completely natural turquoise stones with accenting turquoise stones and shells. Resting at the bottom of the necklace are marvelous and breathtaking hand carved turquoise fetishes. Sandra is one of the best hand carving artists in history, just check out the detail on this piece, absolutely phenomenal. The bottom hand carved turquoise maiden measures around 3" X 3/4". Inlaid into the turquoise maiden are marvelous petit point turqoise, lapis and coral stones. Each and every one of those patterns on the turquoise stones were hand carved. Sterling silver. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Zuni artist, Sandra Quandelacy . The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 35 grams.
