Important Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Rabbit Sterling Silver Necklace

This is an exceptional vintage Navajo large turquoise pendant necklace handmade by the famous artist, Ben Begaye. This phenomenal necklace contains a very large hand carved rabbit Number 8 turquoise pendant that measures a whopping 2-1/2" X 2" X 5/8". The bail on the pendant is superior round and large with amazing sun and plant stampings. Located at the bottom of the turquoise pendant is a marvelous dangling round silver pendant that measures around 1-1/4" in diameter. The silver works on the dangling pendant consists of beautiful silver works that includes shells, flowers and raindrops. The entire pendant including the bail and dangling pendant measures a phenomenal 4" X 2-1/2". This necklace contains a superior large and sturdy thick silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. I love how the nose and eyes of the turquoise pendant is inlaid with stunning coral stones.
