Important Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Cross Sterling Silver Necklace

This is an exceptional vintage Navajo very long and large turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This remarkable necklace contains 25 amazing cross like silver pendants with the largest bottom silver cross pendant measuring around 2-1/8" X 1-1/4". Resting on each of the 24 smaller silver squash cross pendants is a single snake eye shaped turquoise stone with three snake eye shaped turquoise stones being placed on the bottom silver pendant. Resting throughout the majority of the necklace are outstanding handmade round silver beads with old natural patina. The necklace contains a sturdy traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Della & Francis James . The length of the necklace measures around 27". Sturdy 112 grams.
