Important Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Bear Necklace Old

This is an impressive vintage Navajo all silver Ben Begaye necklace. This museum quality necklace is very important as Ben is a very famous artist. This piece is extremely unique as it includes a wonderful large silver bear pendant with dangling silver leaves. The entire pendant measures around 4" X 1-3/4" including the large silver bail. The silver works on this necklace are just phenomenal including hand carved silver flowers, feathers, and raindrops. Located on the necklace are four hand carved silver feathers with a wonderful silver link chain and traditional silver clasp. Ben is one of the best silversmith artists of all time. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye . The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 65 grams.
