Important Vintage Native American Jewelry Navajo Orvil Jack Turquoise Sterling Silver Ring Old

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo Native American Jewelry green turquoise silver ring. This piece contains a fabulous rare turquoise stone that appears to be from the wonderful Orvil Jack turquoise mine. Look at the detail of the shank, I would have to say that this is one of the most detailed silver shanks we have ever collected. Resting at the sides of the shank are silver shells and bordering the stone are matching silver shells. The center stone measures around 1" x 7/8". The ring face measures around 1-1/2" x 1-1/8". Signed by Navajo Native American Jewelry artist, R with a paw mark . The ring size is around 15. Cir. 1970's+. Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 29 grams.
