Important Vintage Native American Navajo Mary Cayanito Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a superb vintage Navajo all silver brown leather concho belt. This impeccable belt contains wonderful hand carved very detailed silver conchos that are butterfly shaped and oval shaped. The larger conchos each measure around 2" X 1-1/8" and each butterfly shaped concho measures around 1-1/4" X 1". Located throughout the 17 conchos are superior silver works that consist of sun bursting patterns, repoussed shells, dotted works and sun stampings. The belt contains a wonderful large rectangular shaped silver buckle that measures around 2-1/4" X 1-1/4". The entire length of the belt measures around 45". Sterling silver. Sturdy 194 grams.
