Important Vintage Native American Navajo Leroy Begay Rare Blue Bolo Tie Sterling Silver

This is an exquisite Navajo large inlaid silver bolo tie. This remarkable bolo contains a large very long trapezoid shaped inlaid silver bolo that measures around 2-3/4" X 1-1/8". The inlay on the bolo consists of Royston turquoise, Easter Blue turquoise, lapis, malachite and coral. Accenting both sides of the bolo in the center are wonderful precise channel works. This bolo consists of a very thick vibrant blue leather tie that consists of outstanding very long handmade silver cones at the bottom that measure around 2-3/4" long. The total length of the tie measures around 45" long. Signed by Navajo artist, Leroy Begay . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. Sturdy 91 grams.
