Important Vintage Native American Navajo Helen Long Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace Old

This is an astonishing vintage Navajo turquoise and silver necklace. This museum quality piece is more of a necklace that looks like a squash blossom but what is very important about this piece is that it was handmade by one of the most famous Navajo artist in history, Helen Long. Helen was known for her incredible traditional silver works, one of the best. Located on this necklace are 11 beautiful dome shaped natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones with accenting handmade silver leaves, ropes, and raindrops. The beautiful naja pendant measures around 2-1/2" X 1-5/8". Resting throughout the entire necklace are amazing round silver beads with a beautiful adjustable silver link chain. The shortest the necklace measures is around 19" while the longest measures around 25". Helens pieces are incredibly valuable. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Helen Long .
