Important Vintage Native American Navajo Hand Tooled 1st Phase Coin Silver Concho Belt

This is a museum quality vintage very old Navajo silver concho belt being from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This belt is absolutely mind blowing as it consists of 10 impeccable solid sterling silver large oval shaped conchos that each consist of marvelous silver works. The silver works consist of plant patterns, sun stampings, and stamped out dotted works which is a big sign of it being so very old as this was one of the oldest techniques used. Each of the waving bordered silver conchos measure a beautiful 3" X 2-3/8" and contains a marvelous center stamped out diamond pattern. How we can also tell that this piece is very old is from the links on the back of each conchos, most concho belts recently made have copper links whereas this one contains solid sterling silver links, absolutely incredible. The old natural patina is phenomenal and so astonishing. The buckle on this belt includes wonderful sun bursting patterns and sun stampings and measures around 2-5/8" X 1-7/8". This belt is absolutely one of the most impressive concho belts we have collected all year. The total length of this belt measures around 39-1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. Late 1800's/ Early 1900's.
