Important Vintage Native American Navajo Goodluck Rare Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Eblt

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo huge, thick and heavy turquoise and silver concho belt handmade by the famous artist Terry Goodluck. This museum quality belt is one of the finest we have collected this year. This belt consists of 13 fascinsting silver conchos and a large rectangular shaped silver buckle. The conchos include butterfly shaped and round shaped patterns with the large rounded conchos each measuring around 3" X 2-1/2". The large silver buckle measures around 3-1/4" X 2-1/2". Located in the center of each concho is a beautiful turquoise stone that appears to be from the marvelous extremely rare Red Mountain turquoise mine. Located on the buckle are five more impeccable Red Mountain turquoise stones. The stampings that are on each concho and buckle are absolutely mind blowing and consist of sun stampings, cloud works, teepees, dotted patterns and half moons. What makes this belt even more remarkable is even the clips on the back are sterling silver with each and every one having Terry's hallmark. The largest stone measures around 1/2" x 1/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Terry Goodluck. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 35-1/2" and 41". Sturdy 703 grams.
