Important Vintage Native American Navajo Debbie Silversmith Sterling Silver Concho Belt

Up for sale is this magnificent vintage Navajo silver concho belt. This newsworthy concho belt is quite an eclectic display of mother nature! At the very heart of the unique 2-1/8” x 1-3/4” buckle boasts the most fabulous mesmerizing large oval Damale turquoise stone as rays of sunlight radiate forth. The sides are both flanked with an impressive wind swirl – that is the main theme of each of the 10 silver conchos. The conchos are a larger horizontal wind swirl with raindrop symbols nestled above and below in the middle of each. Each of the conchos have double retainers as they slide along the ¾” black leather belt. This one is sure to get noticed! Each concho measures around 2" x 1". The center stone measures around 5/8" x 7/16". Signed by Debbie Silversmith, granddaughter of Kenneth Begay. Sterling silver. This belt will fit a waist size between 32" and 35-1/2". Sturdy 208 grams.
