Important Vintage Native American Navajo Dave Tune Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo side inlaid large silver pendant necklace handmade by the famous artist, David Tune. David is a multiple award winner. Located on this necklace is a marvelous thick and sturdy unique shaped silver pendant that measures around 2-7/8" X 1-1/8". Located in the center is a wonderful triangular shaped Royston turquoise stone. Bordering the pendant around the sides are phenomenal side inlaid stones and shells that include coral, turquoise, and mother of pearl. The detailing of the silver works around the pendant are wonderful containing deep sun bursting patterns and shells. This necklace contains a fabulous handmade long handmade silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, David Tune . The length of the necklace measures around 34-1/2". Sturdy 61 grams.
