Important Vintage Native American Navajo Damale Turquoise Sterling Silver Buckle

This is an exceptional vintage Navajo large three stone silver rectangular shaped buckle. This outstanding buckle contains three phenomenal large chunky spiderweb green colored turquoise stones that appear to be from the Damale turquoise mine. Surrounding each stone are wonderful silver ropes with accenting swirling stems, raindrops and 3D detailed silver leaves. Bordering the entire thick and sturdy silver buckle are marvelous sun stampings. The buckle measures around 3-1/4" X 2-1/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-3/4" or less. The center stone measures around 7/8" x 3/4". Sterling silver. Signed by Navajo artist, (bird). Cir. Mid Century +. Sturdy 65 grams.
