Important Vintage Native American Hopi Gary Elsie Yoyokie Sterling Silver Ram Necklace

This is a remarkable vintage very important Hopi all silver necklace handmade by the famous artist, Gary and Elsie Yoyokie. Gary and Elsie are of the Spider clan who began doing silver work in the late 60's. This very unique necklace contains a large silver pendant that contains a dangling round silver medallion that is situated in the center of the actual large rounded outer pendant. The entire pendant measures around 3-1/4" X 2-3/4" and the dangling center round silver medallion measures around 2-1/4" in diameter. The sturdy old natural patina handmade silver link chain is incredible with a traditional silver clasp. Wonderfully carved in the center dangling round medallion is a huge silver rahm with incredible chisel works. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Hopi artist, Gary and Elsie Yoyokie. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 68 grams.
