Up for auction is this marvelous vintage Hopi silver bolo tie. This bolo is a deep hand carving of geometric designs forming the bust of a detailed bear as its growling at its prey. The black braided tie has 2-1/4" tips with large silver hogan beads and is about 41" in length. Signed by Hopi artist, Nathan Fred. Sterling silver, marked. The bolo measures around 1-3/4" x 1-5/8". Cir. 1990's+. Sturdy 32 grams.
