This is a breathtaking vintage Hopi museum quality important silver bracelet by the famous Glenn Lucas. Glenn passed away in 1985 and is known as one of the greatest Hopi silversmiths. Lucas was so talented that he was actually an instructor at Hopi crafts and taught now famous artists such as Art Batala and Phil Poseyesba. This particular bracelet is one of Glenn's earlier pieces, most likely from the 1960's and contains impressive silver waves and incredible geometric patterns. What makes this piece especially unique and Glenn's work in general is the fact that he sometimes used micro dots instead of the segmented chisel works which requires more skill and a significant amount of time. The width of the bracelet measures around 3/8". Signed by Hopi artist, Glenn Lucas. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1960's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/4" with an additional 1-1/4" gap.
