Important Signed Vintage Native American Navajo Spiderweb Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo inlaid buckle silver concho belt. This belt is incredible as it consists of 12 remarkable hand carved silver conchos that are all in the shape of a silver bear. Located on each bear are wonderful silver geometric patterns. The phenomenal inlaid rectangular shaped silver buckle measures around 2" X 1-1/4". Resting in the center of the bucke is a beautiful spiderweb turquoise stone with an accenting coral stone. Bordering the buckle are wonderful stampings that include arrow works, dotted patterns and sun stampings. What is unique about this concho belt is the links on the back of each concho are sterling silver which is very rare as links often consist of copper. Another unique feature is each link is stamped with the artists hallmark. The largest stone measures around 1" x 1/2". Signed by Navajo artist, Ev and Marie Teller . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 25" and 35". Sturdy 125 grams.
