This is a marvelous vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry very important silver necklace handmade by the famous artist Philander Begay. This necklace consists of a huge and heavy silver pendant that measures around 3-1/4" X 1-7/8" including the silver bail. Resting on the pendant are outstanding designs that include fabulous squared inlay corals, turquoise, lapis and ironwood. Also situated on the pendant is an impressive kachina maiden with a very rare Tortoise turquoise and ironwood. The silver works on this piece is absolutely phenomenal. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+.
