Important Old Hopi Ralph Tawangyaouma Turquoise Necklace

This is an incredible vintage Hopi museum quality important silver necklace made by the famous Ralph Tawangyaona. Resting in the center of the pendant is a wonderful triangular Easter Blue turquoise stone. Ralph was one of the most advanced and prolific artist of our time, he was a Hopi medicine man who had many prophecies that are still respected by the Hopi tribe today. The setting on the pendant is a phenomenal silver shadowbox. The necklace consists of a handmade old silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. The pendant measures around 1-1/2" X 1-1/8" and the turquoise stone measures around 3/4" X 3/8". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1960's+. Signed by Hopi artist, Ralph Tawangyaona.
