Important Native American Navajo Hand Tooled Sterling Silver Turquoise Pillbox Necklace!!
A superlative vintage pill box with necklace. This is quite the fantastic 2-7/8” x 1-3/4” ornately handstamped pill box or trinket box – with thick 25” rope chain! It has a beautiful 5/8” x 1/2” Carico Lake turquoise stone on the lid – nestled among silver rope, beads, swirls and starburst. The box is a half-moon shape and is about 1” deep and has a bail opening of about 1/4”. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye. The length of the necklace measures around 25". Sturdy 112 grams.
